At the invitation of Chahuts, association of the arts of the word and Aquitanis, social landlord, Rachid Akbal, the storyteller and Laetitia Vassal, the designer, went to meet the Moroccan veterans of the Mohamed Mechti residence. Soldiers of the French army in the colonies, then forced to stay in Bordeaux for six months out of the year to collect their war pension, these former combatants shared a little of their life with them. From these rare moments was born the shared desire to leave a trace of their journey and their presence in Bordeaux, a book illustrated with their scribbled silhouettes.
