In 2011, photographer Zenzel met young freerunners roaming the rooftops of Paris, living lives parallel to the pavements. He followed them onto rooftops, roofs or unthinkable urban peaks, documenting their stories through his camera, questioning the principles of freedom, identity, limits and danger. This book, based on nine years of photographic work, highlights the bodies of these artists, crossing time, defying space, encouraging us to keep our eyes open, offering us a map of a city rediscovered.
