Certains cherchent des soleils

This work was created during two journeys: the first one by train from Moscow to Beijing; the second one, also by train, this time from Moscow to Yakutsk. It tells the story of the passing Siberian landscapes, driven by the slow pace of the train, of the melancholic wandering through the cold and lonely cities where I stopped by, and finally, of a life shared with the Eveny, nomadic reindeer herders living in the Kolyma, where thousands of Gulag prisoners died building the Road of Bones.
