At the invitation of Chahuts, association of spoken arts and Aquitanis, social landlord, Rachid Akbal, the storyteller and Laetitia Vassal, the designer went to meet the Moroccan veterans of the Mohamed Mechti residence. Soldiers of the French army of the colonies, then obliged to live in Bordeaux six months a year to receive their war pension, these veterans shared a little of their life with them. From these rare moments was born the shared desire to leave a trace of their journey and their presence in Bordeaux, a book illustrated with their scribbled silhouettes.
